Missionary and Member Care

Coaching Strategically

70% of missionaries burn out between 18-36 months. And missionaries who leave the field before 18 months typically do not return. For those who make it past the first few years, many will leave the field prematurely for preventable reasons, reporting they would have stayed if they had the right support and resources.

TruCenter and its suite of resources, can give leaders, member care coaches, and mentors insights and language to get to the heart of the worker’s struggles. This includes revealing spiritual blindspots, which research shows is a common reason workers leave the field, and for some, even abandon their faith.

Facilitators that are equipped with TruCenter, can offer strategic coaching that will lead to the individual or couple to feel truly seen and heard. TruCenter can reveal the root cause of why an individual might feel discouraged or hopeless, and can then restores hope through biblical principles relating to God’s design and purpose for their life.

Mission Team Development

Using TruCenter to bring unity and efficiency to teams on the field

Conflict with leadership and other team members is typically one of the top three reasons for premature attrition. Being part of a team can be difficult and complex in any situation, but doing so in a cross-cultural environment can lead many individuals to feel overwhelmed and discouraged.

Leaders can use TruCenter’s team report to understand the individuals on their team in a deeper way, empowering them to lead strategically and relationally. Then, by sharing the team data report with the group, the dynamics of each individual’s tendencies and uniqueness can be discussed in a positive, open and restorative way.

When teams can communicate with one another and advocate for themselves using a common language, birthed from understanding their divine design, unity and cohesiveness happens.
